The Texas Health Education Service prepares the next generation of healthcare professionals for Texas and beyond by providing application services, scholarships and enrichment activities, research-backed advising resources, and data-driven consulting services to applicants, collegiate advisors and professional school admissions officers.

Guidance is provided by the TXHES Advisory Council, a diverse group of individuals with professional experience in health professions education at either the professional school or undergraduate levels. The Council meets annually supplemented by conference calls and group email communication.
