Start Podiatry School This Fall! EY 2024 Application Reopens May 1


Are you ready to apply to podiatry school? Consider submitting an application as part of the Entry Year 2024 class and start school this fall!

The UT Rio Grande Valley School of Podiatric Medicine deadline for Entry Year 2024 is June 28.  Applicants who begin an application for EY 2024 will need to submit prior to begining an application for the EY 2025 application cycle. 

As the only podiatry school in Texas, UTRGV SOPM seeks candidates to serve Texans' need for foot and ankle care. Stay tuned for Q&A Sessions with the admissions team and insights from current podiatric medical students.

Applying for Entry Year 2024

  • (After May 15) If you submitted an EY 2024 application and have not yet been accepted to another member institution, submit a request via Internal Message to add The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Podiatric Medicine.
  • If you have not yet submitted an EY 2024 application, start an EY 2025 application and send an IM to request access to the EY 2024 application. This application will only include The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Podiatric Medicine
The last MCAT test date for EY 2024 podiatry applicants is May 24, 2024. 

Applying for Entry Year 2025

  • If you have not yet submitted  your application, add The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Podiatric Medicine to your application EY 2025 in the Select Schools section of the application.
  • If you have submitted your application to a medical school through TMDSAS for EY 2025, you can request to add The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Podiatric Medicine by sending an IM via the application portal.
