Checklist Before You Hit Submit’ on Your TMDSAS Application

You’ve put in the work. You’ve carefully completed each section of the TMDSAS application, and the finish line is in sight. But before you submit your application and give yourself a well-deserved pat on the back, it is of the utmost importance that you check off the items on this list. (Also known as the make-it-or-break-it checklist!)

◊ Print and review your application PDF

pdf app linkPrior to submitting, download and review your application PDF. This can be found by logging onto the application portal, scrolling on the homepage until you see “Entry Year” and clicking the blue hyperlink. (Please make sure that your browser settings allow for popups.)

◊ ALL sections of your application are completed

We highly recommend that you print out your application and look over the paper document, as this method is proven to catch more errors when reviewing.

All letters must be requested

  • See page 43-44 of the Application Handbook.
Don’t worry – you can still exchange letter writers if a letter has not been received!

◊ Test dates h
ave been entered (medical and dental applicants)

  • Double-check to make sure the information entered is accurate

Look for typos

  • Proper capitalization/punctuation
  • Spelling and grammar errors
  • Placeholder text you may have forgotten to go back to (in your essays or other long-answer questions)

◊ Your SPRING grades have been entered

Without your Spring 2021 grades, your application could get delayed, and we know you wouldn’t want that to happen!

◊ Your Planned Coursework has been entered (if  applicable)

◊  Your
Chronology is accurate

◊
Your fee is paid online (by credit card only)

Well, did you catch any mistakes? Good! Now you can rest easy knowing that your application reflects the accuracy and precision you pride yourself in having. Good Luck!
