UTRGV School of Podiatric Medicine to Join TMDSAS

As the first podiatry school in the state of Texas, led by Founding Dean and Professor of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Dr. Lawrence Harkless, UTRGV SOPM will join at the TMDSAS table upon gaining accreditation.

It is beyond exciting to have a pipeline for regional podiatric physicians so that our greater health community may meet the growing needs for foot and ankle care in the Rio Grande Valley and throughout Texas.

For more information about the launch of the podiatry program read the UTRGV press release: The Newsroom - THECB approves first podiatry program in Texas, at UTRGV
